We invite you to cruise to Cuba. The tour is designed for 8 days / 7 nights. The route passes through the lively Havana, the colonial cities of Cienfuegos and Trinidad, the island of Youth, among the crystal clear sea and amazing underwater life in Maria La Gorda.
The journey will take place on a modern motor sailing ship "Panorama", which meets the most stringent safety requirements of SOLAS. The living room and the dining room of the sailboat are located on the main deck, the indoor and outdoor bars on the upper deck. 24 cabins are located on 3 decks and are furnished with wooden furniture and decorated with light materials. Cabins on the upper and main decks are equipped with windows, while on the lower ones - with portholes. Fully fitted marble bathrooms. All cabins are air-conditioned and equipped with flat-screen TV, telephone (for internal use). There are hair dryers, mini-fridge, central music, speakerphone and safes.

Meeting at 10 o'clock in the morning in the hotel Melia Cohiba in Havana, then transfer by bus to Cienfuegos, where the ship expects you. After registering on board, there will be an opportunity to take a 3-hour optional excursion around Cienfuegos, the only city in Cuba founded by French settlers. He is also known as the Pearl of the South. In 2005, the city was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Our walking tour includes a visit to the graphics workshop and Marty Park in the center. Here you will see outstanding examples of architecture presenting new ideas of modernity and urban planning, applied in Latin America from the 19th century. Dinner on board and night at sea in the direction of Casilda.
This day will be an additional tour of Trinidad. We will take you to a carefully preserved Spanish colonial city with rich architecture, cobbled streets, palaces and squares. Sometimes it is called the "City Museum of Cuba". In the morning, we will walk around the city with a local guide, plunge into the atmosphere and talk with the locals. Let's get acquainted with the layout of the city. Next we will visit the Romantic Museum, located in the old Palace of Count Brunet with samples of furniture and decorative arts. Stay in the unique woodcarving studio - Lazaro. Dinner on board and overnight in the sea to the island of Isla de la Juventud.
Day at sea / Isla de la Juventud
On Sunday we will spend most of the day at sea. Late arrival in the Gulf of Singanea, where we will spend the night.
Until 1977, the island was called Pine Island. In 1978, Fidel Castro renamed it the island of youth. He turned the island into one big communist school for students from all over the world. You will board the bus and enjoy panoramic views of the sights for a while until you get to Presidio Modelo. This is an abandoned prison in the style of panopticon, where Fidel and Raul Castro were imprisoned from 1953 to 1955. Enjoy lunch, after which you will visit the art school and maternity ward of the local hospital. Before returning to board the ship, you will have free time to explore the city and rest on your own. Maria la gorda
After breakfast, you will have an additional excursion to Maria La Gorda. You will visit a local school, meet Cuban children and their teachers, and discuss the differences and levels of Cuban and American educational systems, especially in rural areas of the country. Visit Guanahacabibes National Park - one of the country's largest reserves on the westernmost tip of the island. The peninsula is one of the last refuges of Aborigines, fleeing from the Spanish conquistadors. There are also about 140 archaeological sites associated with the life of Aboriginal people, known as Guanahatabi. Then we will go to the park to meet with naturalists and locals. Free time for swimming, snorkeling and barbecue on the beach. Overnight at the hotel Maria la Gorda or similar.
Vinales / Pinar del Rio
Early in the morning departure by bus for an excursion to the valley of Vinales (included in the price). This is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in the province of Pinar del Rio in Cuba. The valley is surrounded by mountains and cliffs. It still uses traditional methods in agricultural production, especially tobacco. Visit a tobacco plantation where you will learn about the production of world famous Cuban cigars. After lunch in the restaurant we will go to the Hotel Naxinal de Cuba for an exciting lecture by the famous architect Pedro Vásquez. Return aboard for dinner. Then visit the Taberna cafe or any other. Soak up the wonderful salsa music in the style of Buena Vista Social Club. Night at the port.
After breakfast, go for a walk around Havana Vieha or Old Havana - the city center. Look at the variety of beautiful old baroque and neoclassical monuments, arcades and private balconies. For a better sightseeing, use the unique local Bisitaxi or taxi-bike. We will stop at a restaurant for lunch, and then you will have an additional excursion to the museum of old American cars. Then we will go to Finca Vijia, the favorite home of Ernest Heminrguei, where he lived for 21 years and wrote "For Whom the Bell Tolls", "The Old Man and the Sea". Return to the ship for a farewell dinner and overnight in the port of Sierra Maestra, Old Havana.
