Take a mini safari tour “Ras Mohamed-Tiran” (4 days/3 nights) starting and ending in Sharm el-Sheikh. This three-day safari is a very popular choice, especially if you want to combine your weekly vacation with land rest and excursions. Fantastic coral gardens, cliffs and endless walls, lots of tropical fish – that's what you'll see! This safari is perfect for those who prefer to combine a diving safari with a rest on the beach.
You need to have at least a PADI Open Water Diver certificate (or equivalent) and have at least 15 registered dives. The PADI Advanced Open Water diver certificate or equivalent is recommended for some more complex dive sites visited during this safari. It is necessary to provide a log of registered dive records. If your last dive was more than a year ago, we recommend taking a refreshing course before this safari. Alternatively, the refreshing Scuba Review program is also available on board. Participation in night dives is permitted if you have previous experience of night diving. This safari is suitable for snorkeling enthusiasts.
The diving tour takes place on a comfortable and modern motor yacht King Snefro 6. The yacht is ideal for small groups; the number of seats on board is only 10. All cabins with separate beds are located on the lower deck. 5 cabins are equipped with air conditioning. The two cabins have private bathrooms, the others have 2 shared bathrooms.
Air conditioning and soft sofas make the cabin comfortable to spend time between dives. Here you can watch TV and chat with other passengers. King Snefro 6 has a semi-shaded sun deck with a bar, sofas and drink tables. There is a spacious diving platform with 2 stairs.
Evening transfer to the port of Sharm el-Sheikh, New Marina (El Wataneya), accommodation on the boat, briefing, introduction to the crew. Receiving documents for safari in the port. Navigation early in the morning the next day.
The first dive at the dive site Temple or Ras Katy. Next dive in the national park at the diving site Jackfish Alley. The next dive is Shark & Yolanda Reefs, the southernmost point of the Sinai Peninsula. This place is one of the best dive sites in the world. Possibility of night diving on Temple site.
Navigation to the Strait of Tiran. The first dive is Jackson Reef, the northernmost section in the Strait of Tiran. After breakfast, Woodhouse Reef, ideal for immersion in the currents, the dive takes place on the wind-protected eastern side of the reef. The choice of location for the third dive depends on weather conditions, either in the Northern or Southern Lagoon. Possibility of night diving in South Lagoon.
The first dive is Thomas Reef, the smallest of the four reefs of Tiran, but very interesting and full of marine life. The next dive is Gordon Reef. After lunch, navigation on the route to Sharm El Sheikh and the third dive on the site Ras Nasrani, Ras Gamila or Ras Umm Sid, the choice of the place will be taken on board.
Return to the port of New Marina (El Wataneya), disembarkation.
The schedule of dive sites is approximate. If you have special requests, just let the guide know. Dive sites and itinerary can be changed during the safari, depending on the weather and other unforeseen circumstances. All dives, especially those to sunken objects, depend on the level of divers' training and weather conditions. The final decision on the location of the dive is made by the captain and the guide. Safari routes are subject to change by decision of the Government of Egypt, the Coast Guard and/or the Maritime Police.
