Public transportation in Dubai is a model of efficiency and modernity. The Dubai Metro is an automated, driverless system that covers the main areas of the city. I often used the metro, enjoying fast and comfortable rides. The carriages are clean, air-conditioned, and some offer beautiful city views. Buses and trams complement the metro network, providing access even to remote areas. Fares are paid using the Nol Card, which can be easily topped up at machines at stations. For a more scenic route, try the water taxi or an abra, a traditional wooden boat that will transport you across Dubai Creek in just a few minutes.

In Dubai's hot climate, water parks become a real lifesaver. Aquaventure Waterpark, located at Atlantis The Palm hotel, is one of the largest in the world. I tested my courage there on the "Leap of Faith" slide, where you are practically thrown vertically down through a transparent tube, passing through a shark pool. Wild Wadi Waterpark, located next to Burj Al Arab, offers themed attractions based on Arabian tales. I especially enjoyed "Jumeirah Sceirah" - a 33-meter high slide where you rush at speeds up to 80 km/h. For families with young children, Laguna Waterpark in La Mer offers more relaxed entertainment, including a lazy river and beach areas.

Regular yacht maintenance includes: Monthly maintenance: Checking the condition of the hull, cleaning the deck, checking the operation of all systems. Seasonal service: Yacht preparation for the season (in spring) and conservation (in autumn). It includes checking engines, changing oils, checking sails and ropes. Annual maintenance: Comprehensive inspection and repair of all systems, including electronics, plumbing, navigation and security systems. Maintenance as needed: Repair and replacement of worn or damaged parts, carried out as needed.

On board, yachts from entertainment are available: bathing on the open sea, fishing, water skis, skating on a banana or a tablet.

Dubai is a true foodie paradise, where culinary traditions from around the world converge in one place. One of the most memorable places for me was "Al Mahara" restaurant in the Burj Al Arab hotel. Getting there is an adventure in itself: you walk through an "underwater" tunnel, surrounded by a huge aquarium with exotic fish. I was captivated not only by the exquisite seafood cuisine but also by the fairytale atmosphere straight out of "One Thousand and One Nights." If you are looking for something more authentic, "Al Fanar" offers traditional Emirati cuisine in an old Dubai atmosphere. I tried there "hari", a tender dish of wheat and meat cooked over a slow fire, and it was a revelation for my taste buds. For lovers of panoramic views, you should visit "At.mosphere" on the 122nd floor of the Burj Khalifa, where dinner is accompanied by a breathtaking bird's-eye view of the city.

If the yacht is equipped with a kitchen, then it can be used.

Smoking in Dubai is regulated by law to protect public health. Smoking is prohibited in public places such as shopping malls, restaurants, offices, and transport. However, many establishments have specially designated smoking areas. I have noticed that restaurants and cafes usually have a separation into smoking and non-smoking areas. Violating the rules can result in fines for both the smoker and the establishment. This helps create a comfortable environment for everyone and maintain cleanliness in the city.

Dubai has several locations where you can swim for free: Jumeirah Beach (also known as Jumeirah Open Beach): Dubai's most famous public beach stretching for several kilometers. Kite Beach: Popular with water sports enthusiasts, particularly kitesurfers, but also has a section for general swimming. La Mer Beach: A modern beach with a variety of entertainment options, including pools, but also has a free zone for swimming in the sea. Bear in mind that swimming in the sea in Dubai can be restricted on some days due to tides or weather conditions. It is important to remember that there are strict rules regarding the import and export of certain goods. Drugs, pornographic materials, weapons and certain medicines are prohibited for import and can lead to serious consequences. When exporting goods, pay attention to restrictions on the amount of alcohol and tobacco products. If you are buying gold or jewelry, keep the receipts in case of customs control. I made sure that it is better to familiarize yourself with the rules of your country for the import of goods in advance in order to avoid trouble when returning home.
