Obtaining UAE citizenship is a complex process, available to a limited number of people. The government grants citizenship for exceptional contributions, investments, or unique skills beneficial to the country. I learned that changes were made in 2021, allowing certain categories of foreign professionals to apply for citizenship. However, long-term visas and residency are available to most expats. A "Golden Visa" for 5 or 10 years can be granted to investors, entrepreneurs, and highly skilled professionals. This makes Dubai attractive for long-term living and working, even without citizenship.

Go to question pageThere are no specific medical requirements for most tourists entering Dubai. However, it is recommended to have standard vaccinations such as those for hepatitis A and B, diphtheria, tetanus, and polio. At the time of my trip, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was necessary to provide a negative PCR test taken no earlier than 72 hours prior to departure. I advise checking the current requirements on the official website of the UAE Ministry of Health or with your airline in advance. It is also helpful to have health insurance that covers potential medical expenses abroad.

Go to question pageDubai has long established itself as a global hub for business and conferences. With its ultra-modern conference halls and hotels, equipped with all necessary amenities, the city offers an ideal platform for business events of any scale. I visited the Dubai International Exhibition Centre, where the GITEX technology exhibition was held. Huge halls filled with booths of companies from around the world created an atmosphere of innovation and collaboration. After a busy day of work, business travelers can enjoy the city's diverse entertainment offerings - from fine dining restaurants to cultural events. Dubai also offers excellent opportunities for team building, such as desert safaris, cruises on traditional "dhow" boats, and water sports.
Go to question pageIf you like warmth, then Dubai is your paradise. In summer, from June to August, temperatures can rise to 45°C, and the air becomes dense from heat and humidity. This is the time when air conditioners become your best friends. In winter, from November to March, the weather is milder and more pleasant, with temperatures around 25°C during the day and cool evenings. This is the perfect time for beach walks, desert safaris and dinners on the outdoor terraces. Rain is rare here, but sometimes in winter there are short showers, which the townspeople meet with joy and surprise.
