Dubai is a platform for those who are looking for adrenaline and unusual experiences. One of the most exciting adventures for me was the desert safari. Imagine: you are racing in an SUV over endless dunes, sand is flying up in fountains around, and your heart is beating in time with the roaring engine. After a crazy race, dinner was waiting for us in a Bedouin camp under the stars, with belly dancing and fragrant barbecue. Fans of heights can go on "skydiving" over the "Palm Jumeirah" — an artificial island in the shape of a palm tree. I still remember the feeling of free fall and the breathtaking view of the city and the sea merging on the horizon. Water activities are also impressive: from "kitesurfing" at Kite Beach to "diving" among coral reefs and sunken ships.

Do not smoke in the wrong places, do not make an open fire. • Follow the instructions of the captain and crew. They are responsible for your safety and know how to act in different situations. • Take care of the yacht's equipment and furniture. • Do not throw garbage overboard. Use special trash containers. • Observe the rules of conduct in protected areas and near marine life. Respect other passengers and crew: • Keep quiet at night. • Do not drink alcohol in excessive quantities. • Do not interfere with the crew's work. • Be polite and friendly. • Check the rental rules with the company: each company may have its own rules of conduct on the yacht. Be sure to familiarize yourself with them before going to sea. What is forbidden on a yacht (usually): • Transportation and use of drugs. • Transportation of weapons and explosives. • Violation of UAE customs regulations. • Going to sea without the permission of the captain. • Operating the yacht under the influence of alcohol or drugs (if you have the right to manage). Consequences of violating the rules: • The lessor company may charge you a fine. • You can be dropped off the yacht at the nearest port. • You may be held liable in accordance with UAE law.

The main components used on the yacht include: Straight Knot: Used to tie two ends of a rope of the same diameter. Bowline: Creates a secure loop at the end of the rope, easily untied after loading. Figure-Eight Knot: Prevents the rope from slipping out of blocks and stoppers. Sheet Bend: Connects two ropes of different diameters. Garrote (Clove Hitch): Used to temporarily attach a rope to a rack or rail. Knot "bow" (Round Turn and Two Half Hitches): Secure fastening of the rope to the anchor chain or ring.

Getting there is an adventure in itself: you walk through an "underwater" tunnel, surrounded by a huge aquarium with exotic fish. I was captivated not only by the exquisite seafood cuisine but also by the fairytale atmosphere straight out of "One Thousand and One Nights." If you are looking for something more authentic, "Al Fanar" offers traditional Emirati cuisine in an old Dubai atmosphere. I tried there "hari", a tender dish of wheat and meat cooked over a slow fire, and it was a revelation for my taste buds. For lovers of panoramic views, you should visit "At.mosphere" on the 122nd floor of the Burj Khalifa, where dinner is accompanied by a breathtaking bird's-eye view of the city.

Despite its urban appearance, Dubai is surrounded by amazing natural landscapes. The Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve is a protected area where you can see Arabian Oryx, desert foxes, and a variety of birds. I went on a safari through the reserve and was amazed by the beauty of the golden dunes and the silence of the desert. Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary is a wetland reserve located right in the city. It is home to pink flamingos, herons, and other water birds. Special observation platforms allow you to watch the birds without disturbing their peace.

Rescue vests do not need to be worn on board the yacht.
