Online payment systems: Some companies may accept payments through popular online payment systems such as PayPal. Important points when paying: Deposit: specify the amount and conditions of the deposit. A deposit is usually paid to cover possible damage to the yacht during the rental period and is refunded after the end of the lease if everything is in order with the yacht. Prepayment: Many companies require prepayment (usually from 20% to 50% of the rental price) when booking a yacht. Payment currency: Specify the currency in which the payment is accepted (usually UAE Dirhams (AED), US dollars (USD) or Euros (EUR)). Additional expenses: specify which expenses are included in the rental price (captain's services, fuel, insurance) and which are paid separately. Fees: there are fees for making a payment (for example, the commission of a bank or payment system). Payment confirmation: Be sure to keep the payment confirmation (bank transfer receipt or credit card receipt) until the end of the yacht rental.

There are no specific medical requirements for most tourists entering Dubai. However, it is recommended to have standard vaccinations such as those for hepatitis A and B, diphtheria, tetanus, and polio. At the time of my trip, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was necessary to provide a negative PCR test taken no earlier than 72 hours prior to departure. I advise checking the current requirements on the official website of the UAE Ministry of Health or with your airline in advance. It is also helpful to have health insurance that covers potential medical expenses abroad.

One such place is Al Fahidi, also known as Bastakiya. As I wandered through its narrow streets, I felt like a time traveler. The traditional houses with wind towers, built from coral stone and gypsum, told stories of how people lived here centuries ago. I visited the Dubai Museum, located in Al Fahidi Fort, the oldest building in the city. Inside, I was greeted by exhibits that narrated the lives of Bedouins, pearl diving, and the trade that made Dubai what it is today. Don’t miss Deira, home to the famous markets—the Gold Souk, Spice Souk, and Fish Market. Here, the aromas and sounds of the East create a unique atmosphere, and the opportunity to haggle with vendors adds to the charm.
