In Dubai’s hot climate, water parks become a real lifesaver. Aquaventure Waterpark, located at Atlantis The Palm hotel, is one of the largest in the world. I tested my courage there on the “Leap of Faith” slide, where you are practically thrown vertically down through a transparent tube, passing through a shark pool. Wild Wadi Waterpark, located next to Burj Al Arab, offers themed attractions based on Arabian tales. I especially enjoyed “Jumeirah Sceirah” – a 33-meter high slide where you rush at speeds up to 80 km/h. For families with young children, Laguna Waterpark in La Mer offers more relaxed entertainment, including a lazy river and beach areas.
