Here I met artists from all over the world, discussing art over a cup of strong Arabic coffee.

The official language is Arabic, but English has actually become a second language and is widely used in all spheres of life — from business to everyday communication. I found that almost everyone I interacted with—in hotels, restaurants, shops— spoke English fluently. Choosing a yacht for ocean travel depends on the planned routes, budget and personal preferences, but the main thing is safety, reliability and the ability to withstand the harsh conditions of the open sea.

Chartplotters: Electronic devices that display maps and integrate GPS data, providing a visual representation of the route and surrounding objects. Autopilots: Automatic control systems that help maintain the yacht's course without the constant intervention of the captain. AIS (Automatic Identification System): An automatic identification system that allows you to see other vessels in the field of view and exchange data on location, speed and course. Radar systems: Used to detect objects and navigate in low visibility conditions such as fog or night. Echo sounders: Devices for measuring the depth of water under the keel of a yacht, which helps to avoid shoals and underwater obstacles. Paper nautical charts and compasses: Traditional navigation tools that remain important in the case of failure of electronic systems.

Located on a vast area, it is divided into pavilions representing different countries and regions of the world. Walking through Global Village, I felt like a traveler crossing borders without visas and passports. Each pavilion offers authentic products, dishes of national cuisine, and entertainment programs. I tasted Turkish sweets, bought Indian spices, and enjoyed African dances. Evening shows, fireworks, and attractions make this place perfect for family recreation.

Before traveling, it is important to familiarize yourself with the visa requirements. Citizens of many countries, including Russia, can obtain a free tourist visa on arrival for up to 90 days. I recommend checking the current information on the official website of the emirate or at the UAE consulate, as rules may change. Upon entry, you will need a valid passport that is valid for at least six months from the date of arrival. At the airport, I was asked to fill out a migration card and go through standard control procedures. Everything went quickly and without complications, and soon I was enjoying the sights of the city.
